Initiatives in Logic

It looks like Jan Srzednicki (whom Melbourne logicians all refer to very familiarly as "Shredo") has a new book out. It's a little on the pricey side, even for a logic book, but it looks very interesting.

What is the book about? There doesn't seem to be much available by way of description or review online for free. The Amazon page has very little information. The most informative bit is the review excerpt, which says little: " .., the reviewed collection may be recommended as an important contribution to the history as well as a description of some recent logical investigations.
